Download Robotron

For Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit)

Download: coming very soon See plans

Free to download and try. Chat is always free, and every PC gets free commands to test.

1. Install

  1. Open the file you downloaded and follow the installer.
  2. If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, click More info and then Run anyway. Windows shows this for new apps that it has not seen many times yet.
  3. Start Robotron from the Start menu or the desktop shortcut. It opens full screen with its start-up animation.

2. First-time setup (about 3 minutes)

The setup screen walks you through everything and tests each step:

  1. Accept the terms and enter your name (so Robotron can greet you).
  2. Google Gemini key (required): open aistudio.google.com/apikey, sign in with Google, press Create API key, copy it and paste it into Robotron. Press TEST.
  3. Groq key (recommended, for fast and accurate hearing): open console.groq.com/keys, sign up, press Create API Key, copy it and paste it into Robotron. Press TEST.
  4. Check your microphone and speakers on the last step.

Your keys are stored encrypted on your PC (Windows data protection) and are only sent to Google and Groq.

3. Add your phones (optional)

  1. Install the Robotron Bridge app on your Android phone (the download link is shown in Robotron under Devices).
  2. Keep the phone on the same Wi-Fi as your PC, open Bridge and enter the pairing code shown in Robotron.
  3. Turn on Settings › Accessibility › Robotron Bridge on the phone, so Robotron can tap and type for you.

4. Get a plan when you are ready

When your free commands are used up, Robotron shows its plan screen. Press Buy in browser: after you pay, Robotron on that PC unlocks by itself. You can also buy on the plans page and paste the licence key into the app.

Uninstall

Windows Settings › Apps › Installed apps › Robotron › Uninstall. Your settings and history are in %APPDATA%\Robotron; delete that folder too if you want to remove everything.
